Output depends almost entirely on how much direct sun the panel receives, so placement matters more than anything else: keep the panel in direct sun and clear of dust. A panel under shade or covered in dust will underperform regardless of the product.

The outdoor electrical fittings in the range do need proper installation, and damage caused by installation not carried out by a qualified electrician is not covered by warranty.
